Schoolovision spans countries right across Europe, from Iceland in the north-west, to Azerbaijan in the south-east. Many hundreds of children are involved in this multi-award-winning eTwinning project. It is based on the principles of the Eurovision Song Contest, but for schools. Each country is represented by one school. The pupils choose and perform a song that is then uploaded to the project blog site where it can be viewed by all. In the week leading up to the Eurovision song contest, school vote for their favourite ten songs in true Eurovision style, with the votes being given live over an internet video broadcast.
Llangewydd Juniors is proud to be the Welsh entry for this competition for the 4 years of the project and we are hoping to match, or even beat our best performance - 5th overall in 2011!
