Today has been a little different, the whole school has taken part in the old tradition of "Welly Wanging". Each year group competed against each other to become the Champion. Ethan Thomas in J7 was a super contestant and placed third. Well done Ethan. Here is a photo of Ethan with his certificate and his winning welly.
Red House ruled the day and were the overall winners.
J7 played a huge role in the performances and we were all very proud of their efforts.

Walk to school is a fantastic initiative to be involved with. Walk to school promotes healthy living and keeping fit, but also teaches the children essential road safety skills which will stay with them for life.
As part of the Eisteddfod 2015, Year 5 were required to make a sculpture/model of their faces. Children had to think about Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali and Pablo Picassco when designing and creating. Here are some of the children's work and I am thrilled with the effort J7 put into their models.
We have been investigating shadows and how changing light sources can influence our shadows. Here are some pictures from our investigation.
We have been studying light and experimenting with shadows. Have a look at some of the videos we made using Explain Everything on the iPads.
Today was the first time we have all played together as a team, we thoroughly enjoyed the tournament. We had a really fantastic day with lots of great performances right throughout the squad. We played 4 games and won 3 and drew 1, scoring 17 tries and not conceding a single try. Mr Dixon and I are both really looking forward to the season ahead. Please remember all kits need to be returned ASAP please.
