In Maths this week, we have been learning all about fractions. In today's lesson we enjoyed playing a Maths game ‘Fraction Interaction’ to help us practise equivalent fractions. We played the game with a partner or in threes. We each were dealt six cards from a pack of 50 single digit cards (sets of 09). We had to look closely at our cards to see if we could make a fraction equivalent to one of the fractions on the 'Fraction Interaction' board using two of our cards e.g 2/5 is equivalent to 4/10 on the board. We then discarded the two cards we had used and chose two new ones from the pack. The winner of the game was the player who managed to use their cards to make most fractions equivalent to those on the board.
